Oregon Hearing Centers is a private hearing clinic owned and operated by hearing specialist, Jim Markham. Jim has been providing hearing healthcare services for over 30 years. He began his career because he saw a need for patient-based hearing care due to a family member not receiving the help they needed. Jim has been providing hearing and education to the people of Oregon for decades. His genuine love for helping people is shown through his commitment to patients and serving the community.

Oregon Hearing Centers has two convenient locations in Redmond and Salem, OR. We also provide mobile services to those who cannot make it into our office. Our hearing specialist will come to your home or living center and provide comprehensive hearing care where you are most comfortable.

What to Expect

When you visit Oregon Hearing Centers, you will be welcomed by our hearing specialist and owner, Jim Markham. Your first appointment will be broken into a few parts.
Number 1 icon box

We will begin with a conversation to get to know you better and understand your current hearing situation.

Number 2 icon box

Then we will perform an ear exam by looking at your ear canal and eardrum with an otoscope. The purpose of this step is to determine that the inside of your ears are clean and healthy before we move onto testing.

Number 3 icon box

The hearing test is quick and easy. You will sit in a booth with a pair of headphones on and listen for a series of sounds. This allows us to assess how well you can hear different frequencies and pitches.

Number 4 icon box

We will go over the results of your hearing test (which are recorded on your audiogram) and answer any questions you may have.

Number 5 icon box

If you are a candidate for hearing aids we will go over some options and schedule you for a follow-up visit.

Preferred Provider of the NFL Players Association

Oregon Hearing Centers is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association’s Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collect data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
